Member Services
Occupational health professionals working in healthcare settings face challenges that others can only imagine. Even with huge responsibilities, including oversight for employee care and advocating for a safe workplace, many occupational health professionals are without a ready network of support or help.
Founded in 1981, AOHP is the only national professional organization that exclusively addresses the needs and concerns of the occupational professional in healthcare. We have approximately 1,000 members, with chapters throughout the U.S.
Members have access to expert education and training, the opportunity to network with colleagues and also receive the popular peer-reviewed Journal, quarterly newsletter, and DISCUSS Listserv. Over 90% of those who belong to AOHP renew their membership each year because they find that we are the single best resource for addressing the unique issues of occupational health. AOHP membership demonstrates the professional’s commitment to best practice standards.
