Speaker Bio:
Adria Chambers M.Ed., LCMHC, CEAP is the Program Coordinator for the Employee Assistance Program at Atrium Health, bringing over 11 years of post-graduate experience in mental health. With a background in Marketing from Hampton University and a Master's in Education in Counseling from Winthrop University, Adria is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
In addition to her role at Atrium Health, Adria is the President of the North Carolina Employee Assistance Professional Association and serves as a faculty member for the Diversity Certificate Program at Atrium Health.
Adria's research focuses on self-care for helping professionals, and her interests include Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Stress Management, particularly in the context of leadership development. Beyond her professional commitments, Adria finds joy in being a mom to her daughter, Kayla Jade Chambers, and indulges in activities like walking, puzzles, and traveling for relaxation.
