Speaker Bio:

Erin Lutes is a Clinical Nurse Specialist with a specialty in public health and HIV. She has worked for the SF Department of Public Health and has provided expert consultation and education to NCCC callers about HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis and bloodborne pathogen exposure management since 2014. She has a special interest in harm reduction and reducing HIV-related stigma.

 

 

 

 

 

Rebecca Martinez is a family nurse practitioner who has worn many hats over her nursing career. Since graduating from the UCSF School of Nursing in 2014, she has done stints in primary care, research, HIV and hepatitis prevention, and substance use disorder education and management. Currently, she works at UCSF in a clinical role at the Office-based Buprenorphine Induction Clinic, and in a consultant role at the UCSF National Clinician Consultation Line, where she provides both HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis and blood borne pathogen exposure consultation.
