International Safety Center

Safer Workers | Better Healthcare

At the Center, we are committed to a future without occupational illness or infection associated with exposure to bloodborne and infectious disease in healthcare.  Key to prevention is measuring risk through robust occupational incident surveillance, evidence-based education, and unwavering advocacy.  The Center offers the Exposure Prevention Information Network (EPINet®), a standardized system that gives healthcare facilities the tools to track occupational needlestick, sharp object injury, and blood and body fluid exposure incidents.
