Continuing Education Contact Hours

AOHP is in the process of changing providers. Approval status will be announced in the fall of 2007.

All Pre-Conference Workshops, General Sessions and Breakout Sessions in the national conferences will be applied for as Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours. Some of the Chapter meetings will also offer contact hours. A nurse can earn contact hours depending on session attendance. Sixty minutes of education constitutes 1.0 contact hour. Each nurse should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. Partial credit will not be granted for any session nor will any credit be given until that individual session has been completed.
