Recognizing Occupational Health Professionals
Each year, AOHP dedicates a week in April to recognize the important contributions of occupational health professional. Not only do occupational health professionals take responsibility for employee care, but they have a responsibility to advocate for organizational policies that help to recognize occupational hazards and advocate for new and safe technologies. AOHP raises awareness of these imperative contributions each spring.
Celebration of Occupational Health Professionals 2012
The Marketing Committee is planning for the celebration of Occupational Health Professionals in April 2012. We will be also celebrating the Occupational Health Nurses’ Week (April 9 -13). Once again, we would like to celebrate by including on the poster, pictures of AOHP members performing tasks that they do on a daily basis. AOHP is asking members to submit quality photos to by: Feb 27 2012.
For each individual picture submitted, the member who submitted will be entered into a drawing. Four pictures will be chosen for the poster. The four winners will be awarded $25.00 to be used at their discretion. The Marketing Committee will select the pictures that will be featured on the Occupational Health Poster that will be distributed to all members.
Please submit your photos to info@aohp.org, and be sure to include any caption you feel describes the picture, along with the chapter represented and your employer’s name. Photos should be in high resolution jpg or tif files with a minimum 300 dpi.
