Position: President Emeritus Responsible To: Executive Board of Directors
POSITION SUMMARY:
The President Emeritus provides leadership and guidance to the executive board of directors. In particular, mentors the executive president in proceedings of the Association. Provides a historical perspective in the decision making process.
Qualifications
Immediate past president of the Association.
Term of Office
Two years (non-elected)
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides guidance to the executive president to assure continuity of executive board activities and program development in matters of the Association.
Provides counsel to the executive board of directors in prioritizing Association needs to reflect the mission, goals and objectives of the organization.
Participates in executive board of directors meetings and conference calls as a non-voting member.
Serves as a member of the Planning Committee for Continuing Education and completes the Faculty-Directed Program Review Form as needed.
