AOHP Chapters - Get The Virtual Connection
We often hear that members cannot attend chapter meetings because the meeting site is too far away, or their hospital will not permit them to travel to the meeting during business hours. Chapters can now connect these members via teleconference. AOHP Headquarters can provide your chapter will a tollfree dial in number. If education is provided at the meeting, distribute the power point to remote attendees in advance so that they can participate. Several chapters have used this service with favorable results (ready more in the Chapter Corner.) The cost to the chapter is $.06/person/minute to connect remote members. This translates to less than $5.00/attendee for a one-hour meeting or educational activity. AOHP strives to develop creative solutions to help members connect.
