The Continuing Education Committee represent membership/chapters and assist in reviewing Applications; the review is done electronically as the process for a chapter to receive contact hours for a continuing education event is accomplished electronically through the AOHP website. The Committee also assists in the 3-year renewal process to the Approver.
Government Affairs – Committee Chair: Stephen A. Burt, BS MFA - sburt@wrc-hcr.com
The Government Affairs Committee monitors and responds to legislation and regulations which impact the practice of occupational health in healthcare. Information is then disseminated via AOHP chapter presidents and chapter Government Affairs Committee members. The Committee also formulates position papers and platforms on related issues.

Goals:
Maintain financial stability with a balanced budget
Develop chapter-specific strategic goals
Reevaluate the association scholarships related to cost of living/economy
The Conference Committee works closely with the Conference Chair and AOHP Headquarters staff to identify speakers and vendors, plan education content and provide onsite support, if possible. The Committee meets monthly by teleconference.
