California Pacific is home to the Bay Area's thought leaders in specialty medical care. We currently have an excellent opportunity for Nurse Practitioner in our Occupational Health Services department. This position will report to the Medical Director of and will provide patient care and assessment within the scope of practice under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director and the administrative supervision of the Manager of Occupational Health Services. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California; Certified Nurse Practitioner with current furnishing number; current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred. Experience: At least two years recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Occupational Health setting. Knowledge: Qualified candidates will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of OSHA, California Workers' Compensation Laws and guidelines, DOT driver's exam, guidelines, and law AB 2222. Also important are competency in the management of musculoskeletal problems, accurate 12-lead EKG interpretation and arrhythmia identification, and a comprehensive approach to documentation. We desire a team leader with proven ability to work with individuals of diverse background and to create an effective working climate. We are seeking someone who can work under pressure and remain calm at all times. Ability to suture preferred. Ability to competently use computer software programs, including Word, MS Outlook, Excel and Stolas preferred. Serious candidates who meet the above requirements are
