Nurse Practitioner – Employee Health

Blossoming opportunity available for a per-diem Nurse Practitioner to coordinate activities designed to ensure the continued fitness of new and current employees to perform the required essential functions of their jobs, act as a safety and health care advocate and resource for employees in the work setting.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and an accredited nurse practitioner program as an adult or family nurse practitioner
• Master’s degree in Nursing is required, a specialty in Employee/Occupational Health is preferred
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the State of California
• Current furnishing number in the State of California and DEA number
• Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding employee health and safety, Workers' Compensation, American’s Disability Act and employees' rights; hospital policies and procedures, and applicable contractual provisions.
• Experience in an Employee Health setting with knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Case Management is desirable
