We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Coordinator to
manage all aspects of family and other medical leave of employees at
Union Memorial Hospital, Harbor Hospital, VNA and other affiliates in
Maryland. In this role, you will determine the reasons for leave and
ensure requests are documented and approved. Additional responsibilities
include fielding questions, tracking leave and return dates, providing
trending and compensation reports, ensuring employees receive
compensation and return on time, and providing related training to
staff. Qualified candidates must have a clinical background, preferably
with occupational health, disability or case management experience.
Experience with work programs such as FMLA, ADA and short-term
disability is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, customer
service, organizational, tracking and problem-solving skills are
necessary. You must also be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and
be able to learn OHM.
