We are seeking an experienced RN Employee Health Manager – Full-Time, Monday - Friday
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of Employee Health Services for employees, medical staff, volunteers, students, and contract workers. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and services related to pre-placement screening exams, annual health screenings, occupational exposures, illness, injury, and workplace safety. Investigates and provides correctional options for occupational injury/illness. Administers Workers Compensation Program. Manages Employee Wellness Program. Successfully negotiates the dual role of being an employee advocate while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current CA RN license required.
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience required.
- Minimum 1 – 3 years experience in acute care hospital setting required.
- Current COHN or COHN-S preferred.
- Current member of Association of Occupational Health Professionals (AOHP) preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of CA Worker's Compensation Law, OSHA, CalOSHA, Title XXII, DHS, and Joint Commission required.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships in the delivery of services within the hospital setting.
- Ability to work independently with effective time management.
- Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new systems as needed.
