We are seeking an experienced and sophisticated Injury Prevention Manager
This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs promoting a safe work environment; evaluating causes of employee injuries and developing and implementing activities to address those causes with the intent of reducing injuries. Identify factors contributing to work-related musculoskeletal injuries; assess risk factors in specific high injury jobs/departments; spearhead the employee safety cultural change in collaboration with ELT and PIP Committee. Works closely and collaboratively with the Manager of Employee Health/Disability Management.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. 5 years experience in safety, employee wellness/health, disability management or workers’ compensation. Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
Skills: Excellent verbal and communication skills, strong interpersonal, consultative, project management, teamwork and problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, knowledge of basic office equipment and various computer software programs, self-motivated; self-directed, Ability to establish/maintain positive interpersonal relationships with all levels of the organization, Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks/project, ability to influence and negotiate, ability to take initiative, be innovative and work effectively in a variety of settings.
