The Health Service team is dedicated to the Health and Safety of Geisinger Health System employees, volunteers and students of Geisinger sponsored education programs. The team is staffed by registered nurses, certified registered nurse practitioners, a highly skilled technician and support staff.

This experienced Nurse Practitioner:
  • Performs new employee health and immunization review
  • Provides initial treatment and follow-up for blood borne pathogen exposure
  • Provides initial treatment and follow-up for infectious disease exposure
  • Provides education and support for the department
  • Reviews laboratory and radiology results
  • Performs case management duties related to Workers’ Compensation claims
The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and must be eligible for or certified by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing to care for patients in age ranges indicated.

Our preferred candidate will have at least five years related clinical experience that includes Worker’s Compensation case management. Previous management experience preferred. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent people skills, demonstrated concern for the health and well-being of others, superior written and oral communication skills, computer literacy and the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
